Catheryn (Cat) Jennings is an assistant professor of English and Communication Studies at Hamline University in St. Paul, MN. She is a native of Oklahoma and is an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. Cat received her bachelor’s and master’s degree at Northeastern State University in her hometown of Tahlequah, Ok and her Phd in Writing, Rhetoric, and American Cultures from Michigan State University. Cat’s research interests include queer rhetoric, digital community building and communication, heritage language literacies, Indigenous representation, and Indigenous/two-spirit rhetorics.
